After 25 years buying, selling and designing in the property and interiors worlds, I’ve seen just how valuable a well-designed space can be in life. Growing up on Dartmoor and in rural North Dorset I also understand the power of nature and space.
My unique approach to interiors blends property development advice with mindful and sustainable design. I take great pleasure and pride in turning clients homes into calm, nurturing environments which reflect who they are and are perfectly suited to where they’re going.

sensitive and sustainable design
I focus on light, layout and the natural elements of design often reusing what’s already there, and always with a sensitive, sustainable touch. There's no lean towards a particular look or designer labels; just good, honest design.
Heliotrope has grown from real-world experience. First as a property sales negotiator near Amersham, then as a trainee interior designer in commercial interiors in London. Finally setting up my business on completing my training and leaving to get married and start a family. In addition to that, buying, renovating and selling several family homes.
Each experience taught me something invaluable and I now bring that blend of heart and know-how to every client I help.

It was clear when first meeting Tamzin that she was a very focussed & driven individual. This proved so when discovering there was minimal architect's input on the redesigning of her home. Her plans that she had drawn were very accurate & her eye for detail was exceptional. Her vision & confidence were clear to see & if there was the opportunity to change something for the better then it was always taken. The end result of the project has left Tamzin with a very beautiful & functional family home. Working alongside Tamzin was an absolute pleasure & made our job as the main contractor that much easier.
